My overall experience of this school has been great. I have made close friends and met wonderful people that inspire me. My favorite experiences include but aren’t limited to: homecoming, clubs, sports, and friends. This school is unique because it has a good blend of people from different areas, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds. Every day, we learn something new even outside the classroom. I would choose this school because of its people.

teachers are great sometimes, the rules are unfair, but I had a good learning experience there. I one time went to the restroom and I was threatened to get ISS, notethis wasnt during class this was when we were lining up for lunch and it is a timeyou aloud to go and they accused me of “hiding’ in the restroom. Which is completely crazy. Some kids are absolute rich brats just a btw.

Being at an overcrowded school, may sound bad to some people but over the years of being there I’ve meet a lot of amazing people . The atmosphere of Wando is really nice it’s like everybody is involved into the school spirit some way. What I like about Wando is the fact that they have so many clubs that could fit any body interest and if there’s not a club that fit somebody interests then they can create a new club . Somethings I could change about Wando is having the students voices being heard by the teachers and administrators. What I mean by that is that I want the adults to hear our opinions and suggestions and take it upon consideration . Being at Wando has teach me a lot even though it’s a overcrowded school you’ll learn a lot .!

Wando High School may be a gigantic school filled with hundreds of students, however my favorite thing about Wando is, no matter how many kids roam those halls, you never fail to see the teachers and kids of all kinds smiling in the halls, in their classrooms, doing their best to connect with each other. I feel that motivation is build on positivity and encouragement and that is one thing that Wando never lacks.

Wando high school has been a great experience for me overall. I have been able to take classes that will Help me pursue a career in nursing. Wando has a lot of opportunities and offers a lot of good programs that students should take advantage of to further their high school experience. I am thankful for the clubs I am a part of and also the interesting high school memories I have. I am thankful for it all.

Although the diversity leaves bit to be desired and certain administrators have the tendency to assume everyone is a delinquent, this school has excellent facilities and resources for a high school , a veritable plethora of Advanced Placement classes, a myriad of student-run clubs, plenty of academic societies and service groups, acceptable food better if you eat in the Center for Advanced Studies , and a generally positive school culture although occasionally cheesily so . Tips: 1 Everything is better in the CAS including but not limited to food and windows 2 Ask the lady at the front desk for a map if you ever need to escape down a hallway but you don’t know which one, it will come in handy 3 Theater 1, AP Computer Science Principles, and Digital Multimedia are the easiest classes; AP Physics C is the hardest one 4 You can probably hide behind vending machines ??? Not sure why you’d want to do it, but you probably can 5 Bikes are overpowered

It’s a very big school, my senior class has almost 1,000 students in it. It gets me ready for the big college I’m going to. There’s so many different types of teachers that you will experience learning from. There’s some that can be very difficult to learn from, sometimes you need to learn on your own. At Wando there’s so many great opportunities, there’s warm and welcoming clubs and sports teams. Their sports teams are the best in the state for almost all of them. There’s classes that you didn’t even think you can take in highschool, only in college. I’m taking classes that could only be offered in college. But you can get college credit for it, so you can save money and graduate college early. There’s such a diversity in students at the school. There’s friends for anyone! It’s overall the best school I’ve been to in my whole life. I recommend it for anyone. It’s truly intimidating at first because of the size of the school.
